About City Service Brewing

A nostalgic craft brewery and taproom in downtown Darlington, WI, located in a restored historic gas station. The brewery features a strong automotive theme, with decor including old oil cans, a bar built on a 1962 Lincoln Continental, and a motorcycle hanging from the ceiling. It also houses 'Ted's Stuff,' a collection of antiques and collectibles.

History

Opened on June 1, 2017, by co-owners Dick Tuescher and Ted Thuli. The building originally served as a City Service gas station (built in 1931), and both owners had family ties to the location. The brewery focuses on creating a memorable, retro experience for locals and visitors, blending craft beer with a love for classic cars.
