About Funk Factory Geuzeria
A highly specialized brewery in Plymouth, WI, dedicated to the art of spontaneous fermentation and the production of Lambics and Gueuzes. They are one of the few breweries in the US that utilizes the traditional Belgian method of allowing wild yeast from the air to ferment the beer.
History
Founded by enthusiasts of Belgian sour beers, the Funk Factory was established to bring an authentic Gueuzeria experience to Wisconsin. They maintain a collection of large oak barrels for aging and blending, following the centuries-old traditions of the Zenne valley in Belgium.
